I have an old pre-built with a shitty OEM motherboard, a 10th gen i7, and 32GB of mystery DDR4 RAM. It does have a 3080, a 1000W (Dell) OEM PSU, and a 2tb nvme in it. It's mainly about regaining modularity in my system and part of that is moving to a system that supports modern CPU sockets and a case that actually has room to work in. I get the impression 3000 series cards cards are about to drop off a cliff in terms of 1440p performance with the over reliance on DLSS and it's increasing hardware gated iterations and the 10gb of VRAM is starting to look slim. But on that front I can wait and see what the 5000/9000 cards are performing at in the real world to make a decision. you can test games and if your pc does too much noise when stressed that cpu fan can be tuned in the bios so its lower rpm at max speed.
or if gpu is annoying then you can download msi afterburner and adjust the volts/fan speed with it
