The first fight was not fixed at all, Listons shoulder injury was legit (multiple doctors and an official investigation confirmed this, also multiple people reported Liston having an arm injury prior to the fight) and Listons corner even attempted to blind Ali with Monsel solution in that fight. People cried about that fight being "fixed" because of how much they despised Ali at the time.
As for the second fight, I do believe that one was "fixed", but not in the same way as others. The phantom punch itself, was a very real knockdown. We have tons of footage today that shows us that the knockdown itself was legitimate. What was not legitimate was Liston staying down. Ali himself knew that Liston could've gotten up from the punch and was pissed at him for not continuing to get up and fight. I believe that Liston after getting knocked down chose to stay down because of the mob threatening him beforehand

The second fight was a fix as you described. I've seen the footage and it looks fake. Liston was known to have a strong chin and hardcore dispostion and Clay was never a puncher in his entire career. So whether it was fake punch or he decided to stay down the point is he made a choice to stop fighting despite not being hurt.

I don't know what the future spells in 2 or more years after having turki around, but in the immediate future I can see Canelo-Crawford and Ryan-Haney 2 both happening in the states on separate events in addition to this one. They could've done the rematch to headline the 5v5 as a sixth fight yeah (since haney isn't with matchroom) but I figured it would already be its own thing afterwards since I heard it was signed for the second half of the year. I only meant that ryan wouldn't be on the roster for team oscar also, but I think the novelty of the event plus some good fights featuring guys like Shakur/Ortiz/maybe Boots would provide enough intrigue to not need a big headline fight like that. As an american the matchroom-queensberry event had less star appeal to me than this would have, but I could just be clueless as to how everything is perceived.
