I can't decide between Pixel 9 Pro XL and Fold6.
Initially i wanted fold for my next phone because of the big screen but now i am wondering if it will become annoying to unFOLD it every time. Wouldn't mind that if front screen was bit bigger but it's super narrow.

There are a lot of fags out there who love to talk shit about AliExpress chinkphones, but my cubot shitter has lasted for years now and is still fast. I guess it's a quality control gamble. Some people are still using their first gens now while others probably have ones less than 6 months old with busted screens. I normally don't bother with insurance or "extended warranty" type bullshit but probably would with a fold as the reliability is still somewhat of an unknown, especially if you plan to keep the device for 3+ years.

Actually, maybe Asus's support chat is just fucked. One agent told me it was a US model but then checked again and said it was an international model, then triple checked and said it was international again. Then another agent said it was a US model like the other person initially did.

It's... fine. Pretty slow chip and underwhelming battery but makes up for it with a really nice screen. Your other option is a Pixel 8a which will run laps around the Motorola in short tasks. In sustained loads it completely shits the bed unlike the Moto.
If you can convince yourself to get a larger slab then Nothing Phone 2a and Oneplus Nord 4 are good options in the same price bracket.
