I wrote a program that converts an eq preset from squig.link into an eq preset for my pc, that I just need to put into a specific directory to be able to use it as a global eq. I used that to try to fix the Gatos; especially that huge dip around 9 kHz. Interestingly, crins 5128 measurement got the position of that dip right, while the 711 measurement on squig.link is completely off. It appears to me that 5128 measurements are more reliable in the treble. Ofc I eq'd completely by ear; I realized that the 5128 graph made more sense after the fact. Here's the eq if you want to try it, although the frequencies of Filter 3 and 5 are probably different for your ears:

I really need to get back to trying to find an IEM that I can actually wear for more than and hour before my ears start to hurt since my headphone's pleather earpads and starting to crumble and they want $80 for another pair of these self destructing shits.
Probably hopeless but what is a good set for someone who's ears seem to hate IEMs? Large nozzles and bulky shells are definitely a no go. Also what tips are the best for comfort?

Refer to rtings, scarbir, or youtube reviews that feature a sample of the mic quality recorded. Then check them for specs like battery life.

I was surprised that they actually sounded pretty good and my friend a few feet in front of me couldn't hear the music at a good volume.
