I had a dream where Jason Voorhees killed more than 2 islands full of people with Terrifier levels of gore, and he seemed to be able to know where everybody where because you couldn't hide from him. At one point a guy fought him by covering his face in popcorn before getting killed.

That's what I get for using alcohol as a sleeping aid I guess.

This weekend I watch 2LDK, it was pretty good. It's about 2 roommates that don't like each other very much, and they are both actresses who auditioned for the same role. It does start just a tad slow, but of course it escalates tremendously. Entertaining movie with a breezy 70 minutes or so runtime, anon says check it out.

All the original movies are absolute classics and worth watching (except The Mummy) but most of the sequels are mediocre and completely skippable (Bride of Frankenstein, the best movie of all, obviously excluded). The Abbot and Costello stuff can be kind of funny in small doses.

Yjk the roasties are seething at this poster. If you understand the mindset of an actress/female over 23, you will always know they hate seeing young actresses that have 0 signs of age damage yet. It’s insane how quick age catches up to them. About 3 months ago, I was looking at this actresses instagram and now today, she looks older but also less bright and her emotions are less pleasant. Like you can see the expressions on her face and she looks angry. Sad. You can see this with Sweeny too. I saw her new pics and she looks angry in every pic cause the aging is very noticeable now. Her career is over but we will still be forced to see fat walled face and fat tits.

Actresses are so emotional that even on the red carpet, they cannot hide their anger and resentment at how obvious the signs of aging are. Career is over. I have noticed this in Jenna Ortega and very recently on Sweeny. For Sweeny, she looks mad and her eyes look hard. It is always hilarious to see an actress have her career officially finish at 23ish these days. It just so happens studios have films in progress and finding a newer younger actress takes time.

Is there anything resembling aging gracefully in the spotlight for modern startlets? The mid 25 actresses look so angry and resentful even at red carpet evens while the 60+ crowd tends to be more comfortable with less or no bitterness that you can see in their faces. This is bad for their careers cause no one likes angry celebrities.

>Suspiria (1977)
>Jaws
>The Terminator
>Jurassic Park
>The Evil Dead
>Evil Dead 2
>Cure
>Gremlins
>The Thing
>The Silence of the Lambs
>Re-Animator (releases in March!)
>Se7en
>Dog Soldiers
>Scream (1996) (I'm still so fucking pissed off that they refuse to release the director's cut on higher resolution but at least I still have the German DVD. I know it's only a few seconds missing, but those few seconds make the kitchen stabbing scene more unnerving)
>Scream 2
>The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari
Nosferatu (1979) is also getting a 4K release soonish from Shout Factory but they haven't yet announced a release date. It's sad to think that OG Nosferatu probably doesn't have a good enough source to get a good 4K restoration out of. I also really wanted Cronenberg's The Fly in 4K and Peter Jackson's Braindead but oh well. Maybe someday.

I'd say so, but it's kind of hard to find since it's a fan edit and not from an official source. If you don't know what you're missing though it's not that big a deal. I just think the kitchen scene is better in the DC.

It's a fan edit if you want it in HD* but it was released on laserdisc and German and Japanese DVD releases way back when. I almost wonder if they've lost the source now since Disney refused to release NC-17 edits of any of their movies domestically and they owned Dimension Films back then. Paramount has owned the distribution rights before they released the 25th anniversary 4K so they must've lost the footage.

Are you kidding? It's full of tone deaf moments like that. These dumb scenes would fit for a horror comedy/horror for kids but not for the type of story IT is. Juxtapose those scenes to scenes like the mirror maze or baseball stadium for example. It's just so weird how out of place those attempts at "comedy" feel in comparison to those scenes, it reeks of studio interference.

Part 1 is geniunely good though.

>Jaws, Terminator, and Jurassic Park are more summer blockbusters than Horror.
First of all, one doesn't exclude the other.
Second of all, Jaws literally created the summer blockbuster.

And third, the original Terminator is not a blockbuster since it wasn't made or distributed by a major Hollywood studio which Jaws was. It's an independent production. You're thinking of the sequel which I didn't mention because while it has horror elements, it's not a fullblown horror movie unlike the original. Cameron himself called it a sci-fi slasher and it was heavily inspired by Halloween and a nightmare he had.

As for Jurassic Park, Spielberg called it "Jaws on land". It's a sci-fi horror action/adventure but for kids. It's just one of those horror movies that isn't categorized under horror on a lot of online movie databases which can be quite inconsistent.

I was curious if anyone else supported my perception that JP is a horror movie and I found some articles that agreed with me and then a YT video with 200K views on it, but what I found the most interesting is that a lot of the comments actually supported the sentiment, with some even saying it was just stating the obvious: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_zfpYJmnKUA

>I personally put Gremlins in the Christmas category
It's more of a horror movie than a Christmas movie if we're really being honest, but it's definitely both.

Not sexually secure, just expanding the pool to choose from. People use themselves as the baseline and if you’re interacting with someone below you for a longer period of time, it becomes uncomfortable. Regarding sex, it would just be foreplay and leaving after sex.

Excessive nitpicking is an incel and even unmasculine trait.
Sexually successful males will either fuck women based on attraction (which often doesn't correlate to conventional beauty) and confidence and won't obsess about categorizing women under several levels of beauty.
They won't be online trying to say Jenna Ortega, Nell or Florence Pugh are unattractive for instance-- they'll simply live their lives and have sex with women they find attractive.
Cinema shows that all the time: the more a character talks, rationalizes and ranks women's looks the less likely he is to actually be sexually successful (case in point those scenes w/khv teens talking about their schoolmates who in practice are fucking more action-minded guys)

It's not that complex. Sexual success indicates a broad approach to sexual with a focus on desire and based on a sense of self-confidence. Attractive men and women often date and even marry beneath their perceived attraction leagues because they take several aspects into account-- which is why you have sexually unsuccessful ppl (both men and women) calling Henry Cavill's perfectly fine wife "ugly" for instance
