Not iem related but anyone knows how to convert a Poweramp EQ (android) preset to be used on Windows with PeaceAPO?
Tried using manually adjusting, while even using ChatGPT but I can't get it to work

Poweramp is the odd one out so the question is how to convert APO presets to poweramp. Poweramp uses slightly different formulas, since it's closed source we don't know the exact difference.

Ah shit
I know Poweramp use shared EQ by others (using the last one by Super Review)
Tried looking online but couldn't find the correct one
Oh well, I still have one on my pc although it doesn't sound as good, still an improvement over default

Just don't listen to boring music. I enjoy this piece of REAL music right now with this eq: https://youtu.be/AAuJklQV2lM
Sounds great to me, not at all boring or muddy.
I usually listen to music through nearfield monitors, so maybe I'm just used to the sound.

You have to adjust the center frequencies of filter 3 and 4 to your personal ear canal resonance, which might be different than mine, especially when you use a different iem. You can find those with the tone generator on squig.link. They might be a couple hundred or even 1 kHz away from mine, which is very relevant for these narrow filter.
Also, the Hexa is kind of bright, so it benefits from that 250 Hz bump, which might not be necessary on other pos.
These eq presets are (unfortunately) very dependent on ears, pos, and also a little bit mood. You need to tweak them to get it right; you can't expect them to work for you as is. I just post them for inspiration and to discuss.

A good music recommendation on /iemg/? I can't believe it. No really, I like it, and I didn't know the GW2 ost, will add to my todo list.
I have never played Genshin, but the recording quality of its ost is something else, and there's sooo much of it. I discovered the piece I posted earlier just today, and I listen to Genshin music for over a year already.

Stop listening to placebo shit like FLACebo and DSDung! If you truly care about battery life, then you would just buy a modified iPod Classic 7th Generation that has a 3000 mAh battery in the eBay, or you can modify it by yourself! The battery life literally lasts over 100 hours if the volume is not at the maximum.

After being in PostNL limbo for a month, KB02 has arrived.
Really good build and beautiful resin shell, especially for the $23 I paid.
Sounds just like your typical 1DD, the bass is good, I don't really feel the bone conduction but if you hit the shell with your finger, you can hear a "boing" sound from the bone conductor vibrating.
Perhaps it adds more weight to the 100-200hz, bass around that range sound fuller, I was expecting some kind of haptic feedback, but no, you can't even feel the shake with your fingers.

once they fix error 13 sure, doesn't bother me but it can be a dealbreaker for sure.
If you pause a track and come back to it in 5-10min (didn't really count how long it takes), it doesn't remember the track position and you need to replay the track.
Other than that, it's rock solid. Battery lasts me the entire week.

KB01/KB02 or Cadenza would be just a matter of preference, I specifically picked 02 on sale for the BCD, even tho it's barely noticeable, the DD is solid.
It also comes with 9 pairs of tips (SML, black/gray/white) and standard black 2 core cables.
All in all, very satisfying purchase, one level above those cheapest plastic pos like gate and wankers.

Do not get a 7th gen like this anon says, the 7th gen is prone to hissing with more sensitive IEMs and it's quite lacking in power.
Something like the R1 is a much nicer choice (I switched to the R1 from a 5th gen classic).

Also, by the time you're done modding your ipod you'll have spent more than you would, if you just bought the chinese pos.

bwo I've been rocking the ipos before this general was even a thing, don't talk to me like this you fricking chump.
Don't get me wrong, I still love the iPod but at this point it's just a grift of overpaying for a cummy example on your classifieds of choice and then overpaying for an SD adapter that works reliably with it.

It's a voltage divider.

You only get +3 Ohm output impedance for 5:1 voltage reduction but I could be wrong.

Not sure if this is the right place but does anyone have earbud recommendations for an s23 ultra?
I need them to stay on all day without ever falling out due to head tilting. And maybe with noise cancellation too so I can hear clearly while videocalling (it can get noisy where I work)
budget: $20-$100
Thank you in advance!
