It's not about being an edgelord, it's about rejecting the notion that the universe has any preconceived purpose, that existence is inherently chaotic and random, and that there is no moral obligation we are entitled to, basically it's all about accepting that life is purposeless, meaningless by itself, and that meaning can only given by yourself, for convenience, of course.

Morality is entirely subjective, what is perceived as atrocious by someone might be perceives as normal by someone else.

Because chaos means infinite possibilities, and that includes the possibility of us being the only creatures with sentient self-awareness, no need for an orderly force to be behind it.
