So you know how the craziest religious people in the world sometimes parade around and talk about how demons are real and god is coming back any minute now and how they bitch up and down about how people reading harry potter or playing dungeons and dragons are like... at serious risk of damnation? Because they consider that shit to be like... religious competition. And it's so hilarious because that means that they are bringing down their own belief system to the level of people who just like watching fun movies and they don't even realize it because they think ALL the stuff people make up about magic is real because they don't recognize that religious people are all charlatans?
Well i was talking with god and lucifer and we realized that all their religions ARE on the level of harry potter and shit. Every serious religious group out there is basically a harry potter fan. Or a twilight fan. Or any other kind of obnoxious fandom out there. They've all got holy books and argue with each other over what's "canon", and then start vicious feuds with each other when they disagree with each other.

Reality and fiction are very different things. Harry Potter and D&D are just fun fantasy.
Of course, however, if the fantasy in question revolves entirely around things like graphic sexual violence, you’re at least approaching the city limits of Demontown.
