From 2009 to 2016, I became very proficient at manifestation.
I always felt guilty about it, and tried to explain to other people how to do it. It felt like a cheat code.
So, in 2016 ish, I "turned it off". I stopped consciously trying to manifest things.
What happened next was remarkable.
It doesn't turn off.
It just goes on autopilot.
Your beliefs still manifest.
I went into a very negative spiral, and began feeling massive fear and paranoia that I was going to be murdered. Believed it, rather strongly.
From 2017-2024, I quite literally autonomously manifested murderous people into my life.
Thankfully, fundamentally, I was always manifesting "invulnerability". Not like.. "I'm bulletproof", but simply that I would stay alive.
I avoided being murdered 3-5 times by different groups/people, over the course of 7 years.
Just barely, in every case. I'm talking like, a dude was 4 feet away from me about to pull a knife out of his coat and kill me (gang related - no, I'm not in a gang, I attracted their attention though)
So, let it be known.. One cannot "turn off" manifestation once it is engaged.
It will persist "on autopilot", and you will continue to manifest your beliefs into your life. Even if they are super negative.
I broke this negative spiral by taking meds. I had to, nothing else was working. It was my last option before suicide. The meds have reduced my anxiety and paranoia to almost non-existent - it reset my patterns of thinking. Something I desperately needed.
Interested to hear peoples opinions on this or similar experiences. Though, I assume it's rare for a talented manifestor to "turn off" their abilities (or try to, anyways).
Like I say, it felt like a cheat code to me, and I just thought "I can't morally do this anymore, when nobody else understands/harnesses it"

I think it depends on what you're trying to manifest. Some things take longer to "cook". For example I've been manifesting some career stuff, including getting back into a career after a 15-year absence. When I first started manifesting it, I didn't have the skills necessary to really be what I wanted to be. So instead of just suddenly having this new job for which I am not prepared, I've been learning and training for the job and getting opportunities to do so. I'm about 1.5 years into it, getting better and better and more and more opportunities, and when is all said and done, it will probably be about 3 years total from when I first started manifesting it to when I do get it.

It turns out this stuff is real, and talking to other practitioners can be HUGELY beneficial to learning. You can ask questions. "how does that work?" "what book should I read?"
Eventually you learn enough that people start asking you questions. And then you're giving back, not just asking to be taught all the time.

My friends, I’d like some insight.

When I’m clearheaded and level, I have a sense of knowing. I look at the world around me, the TV, texts, games, social outings, and I feel as if I “know” it all. I feel like nothing is a surprise. Even predicting the immediate future as setting things in motion related to my desires or goals. Could anyone give more insight to this?

Another issue, there are circumstances that cause my mood to drop and I feel more baser and upsetting urges, rage, lack or need, and it becomes harder to “feel”. Do any other anons dip like this on occasion, and if so could I receive advice from someone who’s felt these things? Personally for me I’m working on these circumstances, and I am becoming much better.
