There is a patron saint of gamers that was just beatified, but its highly suspect. Basically all since vatican 2 are suspect, because they have begun to do things like lower standards, or outright lie. The story of Maximillion Kolbe and the reason for his canonization and patronage is supposedly "because he gave himselves so the nazis would kill him instead of a rabbi"
but the actual story is that he requested to take the place of a polish catholic man who had a family. He only even interacted with the rabbis because he was attempting to convert them while they were in solitary. The worst part is, they SCRUBBED this story from the web and replaced it with the fake one, the problem for them is that books about the actual story were published in irish, which ai cant seem to understand, so it missed the scrub and there are documents still available if you know how to look as gaeilge.
