Because it doesn't. You haven't seen the 5090 in person running at "240" frames before but you will and I can promise you, its very obvious that there is AI creating what it 'thinks' should be on screen rather than actually showing what is on screen.

The alternative tech is to you know, just have stronger cards. 4XXX series are 4nm transistors and the 5XXX series are 4nm transistors too. Nvidia chose not to purchase the 3nm transistors which would have been more powerful and allowed for better performance without using AI.
