I think the survival aspect is the part that needs more polish as Palworld still falls into that pitfall of ''survival game try to live in the wild!!!!'' schtick that gets utterly fucking invalidated the second you get an optimal farm going on and the second you get a fucking Grass-type is the second hunger ceases to be a problem at a fundamental level.

This is why weather should be a major feature for palworld, give us Sandstorms that can wreck crops, give us droughts that can affect performance and make ice pals start getting pressed until you do something about it, flat out give us a base raid that's just you vs natural disasters and you gotta do an evacuation routine or the pals fight off a fucking Hurricane to blow it elsewhere. Also the Arceus patents are nothing like Palworld does and they obviously knew that.
With mounts for example, the patent describes flicking through your mons and selecting the mountable mon that you then ride instantly, there are also some other details about switching mounts automatically.
In palworld you instead summon the mountable pal then push the mount button when it's out, it's a very important distinction for a proper patent case. They did it purely to harass them since they can just drag out the case forever and force them to change things despite the lack of merit in the patents.
This basically killed Nintendo's image for me, I'll never let tendies live this down.

Level up HP. You need to survive if you want a chance. In particular, you should see if you got good weapons or pals to take out the pengullets first before the boss sees you. If you can stunlock or take a penguin out before it alerts everyone, you can kind of distract the boss as it goes to inspect the dead pal, and then focus on the next penguin before chaos ensues.
