magik and panther are too slow and predictable because of having to spend their movement on damage and thus die to a coordinated team that knows how to lead their shots to where they're going. spiderman just does no damage and has to spend half the game hiding while his resources come back so he gets removed from the game by competent healers and wolverine barely even counts as a melee because he's just a dedcated anti tank kidnapper when bucky can just hook tanks instead while also being good against literally any other kind of character
iron fists block and heal means he's the only melee that doesn't get automatically removed from the game by namor/peni/basically every healer except rocket that knows how to fuck them with turrets/traps/cc, is the only one except wolverine that can actually kill tanks instead of having to run away like a cuck because thor is actually defending his team instead of trying to 1v6, and can kill any 275 hp or less character in under 2s by holding left click while still having all his mobility options to make a quick escape, full heal and come back to put more pressure on you a few seconds later. he also has the 2nd best ult of any melee (spiderman is better but he takes forever to build ult because he spends half the round doing literally nothing while IF has way more uptime) that can be used to go berserk on the backline like darkchild but also makes him tanky as fuck to hold a point and can push people out of healer ults/off the point to win overtime and by far the best teamup ability of any melee that gives luna (one of the best characters in the game) a bullshit damage/slow/knockback/heal aoe

there's a reason his winrate is 2nd highest at grandmaster among dps despite barely being played. as people continue to realize magik sets herself up for free headshots when she portals you're gonna see IF supremacy

Make sure that when you're doing the crosshairs you press the + on every single section, click "All Heroes" and change it to the specific hero, change "Reticle type" to "Circle and Crosshairs", and make sure you disable "Reticle Animation" or it won't let you edit every value.

You can only import the settings they give you if you only want to use five of them because everything past five overwrites one of them so you need to do them all manually and never touch the "Reticle Save" part.

But IF has some really bad data going for him, and the general interpretation is that what he brings to the table is less than most other DPS. All tier lists are speculation, theorycrafting and conjecture, but the data doesn't tell the whole picture either. Even in games with no updates, metas and perceptions change with time. Maybe he has some secret value no one sees. But in the meantime, someone who doesn't main Psylocke can flex to Psylocke and probably bring more value than someone who OTPs Iron Fist, assuming they're a similar level of ability.
