Challenge to those who like Andor.
Explain why you like it, but focusing on universal objective reasons why it's good, not some ideological bullshit or because it's "smart" aka technobabble real world bullshit that has no baring on the quality of the plot and characters.

Andor’s biggest accomplishment is how it genuinely invests me in the fight against the Empire. Normally the Empire is just a generic boring incompetent bad guy faction, but between the prison arc, the finale, and the torture scene, it gives you a strong reason to genuinely hate them and get hyped to see them get defeated. Furthermore, spending a lot of scenes showing them from their own perspective being reasonable and competent (but still evil) again makes it easier to get invested in the conflict. They’re pretty much the opposite of the First Order in every way

Like sure that's good on paper, but is it truly that engaging?
What I saw was mostly boring technobabble crap, and I couldn't get remotely invested in any of the characters.

...Yes. Personally, having a believable, threatening, despicable antagonist is one of the most important ways of getting me invested in a story, because it's a surefire way to establish high stakes. That's why I hated the sequels so much, because the antagonists are so unthreatening and it makes me impossible to get engaged.
I do admit that the opening few episodes are slow, but like I said, the show shines the most in the prison arc and finale
