If there's any truth to the latter, that's immensely fucking stupid. Ryan Reynolds only tried to seize control of Deadpool after the first movie came out and was a huge success. Not during the filming of the original movie before it became this Mega franchise. You have to actually have leverage before you start trying to seize control of something.
