This was one of those veeery rare genre shows that aren't just Beverly Hills 90210 with a sci-fi/horror coating and where the plot actually mattered. The story was good, too. So why did it crash & burn?

Much like Game of Thrones, they were adapting a book series that hadn't been fully written yet, so once they reached the point that they ran out of book they had to make up shit.

It was terrible, that's why. Cheesy and bad acting. An unoriginal concept. A plodding pace, and a predictable plot. Solid 4/10
