About 10 years ago I was working overnight at a gas station and one night it was super foggy outside to the point that you couldn't even see the pumps from the front of the store. Around 3am a regular costumer and I were just in there shooting the shit because there was no one around and he didn't want to drive home in the fog and this little man comes walking in the store. He was about 4 feet tall, was bald but had tuffs of long white hair and a long white beard. He was wearing what I can only describe as a tunic that seemed to be made out of a burlap sack and he was barefoot. I greated him when he walked in and he didn't seem to even acknowledge the existence of me or my friend. He walked around the store for a few minutes picking up products and seemingly studying them with a baffled look on his face. He then walked back out and dissapeared into the fog. I have know idea what I saw and every once in a while I'll run into the other guy who was there that night and he still brings up the night we saw the "hobbit" as he calls it. I still wonder what the hell he was.
