Why is this called "F of X" when that makes 0 sense? So much of math could be made more accessible to non autistic people if you just labelled definitions something that makes sense to most people

congratulations, you learned a universal notation and now will never have this difficulty again

Output is function of x.
Output is function of x.

f(x)=x : Y=x
f(z)=z : Y=z
Now f(x) =/= Y all the time
Could be f(x) = G
f()=function

I think it is that way because any mathematical expression with a variable can be "f, your math expression, varies depending on x, you value" because based on what you input ( x = 0, 1, 2, 3, ..., n) it would have to be changed on the expression you have and that's how you change the general function of the math expression, idk if I explain myself XD
