How do you EDC your camera? I want to take my camera with me more, but I don't want to carry a purse like a faggot.

just carry it on a strap around your neck if you're too insecure to wear a bag. but if you're too in your own head about having a bag then you probably should save yourself some $ on the camera equipment and invest in therapy instead

On a strap slung cross body like every normal man has carried a camera since forever. Purses are for fujislugs coping with their low quality "weather resistance that doesnt mean weather sealed" and gear queers on their way to donate their entire collection to the local inner city youth.

Never on top of a coat, always under the coat.

depends on the camera, if it's modern dslr that if you look at it the wrong way the plastic breaks then in bag or backpack
if pns or rangefinder then pocket, anything else shoulder/neck strap
throw away factory strap they suck balls, buy something decent or make one if you have some car seat belts or nylon ropes laying around

I hate regular straps so I just use a sling. If I'm out for a while a backpack. If it's a shitty neighborhood something even less attention grabbing.

If you're that worried about people stealing your shit then you probably shouldn't be going there anyways.

Dangerously based OM-4Ti owner, I even bring it along with my digital camera to meter complex scenes.

Will the Moment fit a TLR measuring 11x11x15? And how padded is it?

multispot metering master race
11x11x15cm is pushing it. I don't think it will close.
the padding is extremely bare bones, the sling is more to conceal the camera and protect it from the elements

for longer trips I use a manfrotto street slim backpack which can hold the OM-4Ti with an 28mm mounted + a 300mm lens, 200mm lens, 135mm lens, 50mm lens, F280 flash and all that in just the camera compartment leaving huge amount of space for accessories, tripod, water bottle and a tablet if needed

I love compact cameras like you wouldn't believe.

Just throw the strap over your sholder and carry it. Works well enough.

i just bought this strap and it looks long enough i can put it under my arm, the little pockets to stick sd cards/batteries are nice too

its a pentax so i could probably beat someone over the head with it if they try to mug me

It's not bad but I wish it was an inch or two longer so I could stand up straight. Definitely meant for skinny short Asians and not fat Americans. This is a KF DSLR with a 70-300mm Promaster LD lens (probably a Sigma rebadge from the 90s)

the worst part is i was doing this at like 3-4pm when school was out so im sure a few people probably thought i was trying to smuggle salami in my hoodie or at least take creepshots of little kids

honestly its fine as a neck strap but its like 2-3 inches too short as a shoulder strap especially with a hoodie or jacket on, its tight to swivel it around into shooting position. if someone finds similar on ali pls link below

If you're only traveling from your home to the sportsball stadium (where else would you use a 70-300mm lens?) then you can just put it in a backpack.

i like taking distance shots since its easier to take a few steps back if you have too much lens but personally for walk-around duties im waiting on a 28-90mm + 35mm prime lens to come in the mail.

its a crop sensor cam (pentax kf apsc) and that was a $30 lens (honestly not awful other than slow AF + bad purple fringing on whites + soft)

Buy a camera insert, you can turn any bag into a camera bag with that. So you could buy whatever backpack you like or something like a canvas messenger, then just put the insert inside and it's a camera bag. It also draws less attention since typical camera bags are very obvious about what they are and you can spot a Lowepro or Peak Design bag from the other side of a street.

My camera goes in my jacket pocket, it's very compact though.
In the future when I get a larger camera I intend on carrying it in a small satchel.
Main important feature for me is that I don't feel encumbered, and thus always feel like taking my camera with me.

>you: a dumb mangy mutt lugging his snoy and "JuSt OnE LeNsE" around because he is too insecure to wear a small satchel, ironically wears his snoy like a purse and pretends its different, secretly brain damaged by tranny ideology and actually believes he can become less male by doing unmale things. Has a tiny weiner. Will eventually lose his camera to a rainstorm and troon out from the stress, like every other snoy user before him

>me: A handsome and universally appealing fennec fox who wears a small satchel to hold his based fujifilm camera and several primes and zooms, taking full advantage of using an interchangeable lens camera, secure in his masculinity and a firm believer that the gender binary is set at birth so all men are always men no matter what they do. Not afraid of rain because all weather sealing is just good enough for brief exposure and it's better to waterproof your gear bag. Not afraid to bottom because his cock is huge and he's a total switch.
