I haven't broken any cameras, only repaired them. Most ILC cameras from any brand would take a retard to break.

Card door felt loose so I opened it in the dark and felt around. Snapped off a tiny bit of plastic that acted to close the bottom half of the door using tension. Ended up gluing it back on with a couple slivers of cut paper clip as backing material to hold it together. Works better than new now.

Bought a point and shoot snapshitter to fool with. Put some batteries in it. Turned it on. Lens extended fine. Snapped a few test pics at my desk. Everything worked good. With camera turned on I walked over to the nearby window to try the telephoto. Dropped the camera opening the blinds. It landed cockeyed on the extended lens ruining it.

I remember being on a first date with a Chinese university student and she let me use her silver Fuji (maybe it was a x100 I don't know)
Date was going fine until I tripped on the door walking out of an atm booth and dropped her camera on the concrete floor. The front lens element and front half of the camera was totally smashed to shit.
I offered to pay for it to be fixed (I had no money lol) but she said it was fine. Still went on to bang her later and the sex was great

Yeah people only buy those for group texts with their friends
Sony cameras are similar. People buy them because theyre compact and not in the way or ugly when hanging with friends. Magic autofocus lets you shoot kino one handed - and drunk. Loner aspie mutants can just use DSLRs.

Back in 2009 or 2010 I put my courier style camera bag with my 5D mark ii and a 70-200 2.8 in it, on the arm chair in my living room. My girlfriends fat bitch friend came over later and plopped her ham planet self on top of it snapping the mount from the body and the back section off the lens also ripping out the ribbon cables. Somehow it was my fault.
Posted about it here for the first time back in 2011 I think. I wonder if there are any old fags that remember that similar thread.

I wanted to clean my sensor and spilled the stuff all over it. Afterwards my friend came over and tried to clean it with a lens cleaner. All in all, he fucked my sensor's filter, so all I can take are pictures of stuff in fog.

do you still have photos?
what a fucking animal
I fucked up my Nikon FM2's curtains by simply using it's own motordrive
something was probably a bit misaligned already, but then the motordrive went and did its thing by forcing anything in its way
worked out fine for the first 5 times I pressed the button for testing
on the 6th one I heard the titanium curtain get fucked up
was able to get it substituted for another original piece but shit was expensive
I've never used the motordrive again
I should sell the little fucker

If you're chinese and want permission to study overseas you need to be connected. So either very rich parents or mildly rich but important parents.

from my time working at a place that took in repairs, 1 customer had gear backpack on counter, and picked it up without zipping, and everything came tumbling out
probably 70% of repairs were dropping / banging against something, 20% water, 10% other
from myself, I've had two cameras rip from being pointed at the sun long enough, both ended up being repaired by manufacturer free of charge

I once accidentally left my camera bag on top of my car before I got onto the highway. I know I wanted a new telephoto lens anyway, but that's not quite what I had in mind.

Forgot how to get the film out the camera and ripped the roll in half
Since then the camera hasn’t been reliable to wind on photos
Exposed one roll because I thought I had rolled it back enough but hadn’t

Murked a Canon EF 70-210 F4 into this creek while making this image, somehow it rolled down and right into the water.
It's still there.

I almost lost one of those too on this shot, I used a Cokin filter ND stack to get the motion of the leaves. I had to hold it in front of the lens and it slipped and fell and I caught it right when it hit the water I got lucky lol
This whole setup hung over the water because there was a ledge I was standing on and for whatever reason it was in the shot so I had to basically lean over it with the tripod in the water, with PVC extensions, to get the shot.
