Older songs are "better" because music for the past 25 years has been more about who you are rather than what you do. Having the right image is more crucial to having a successful career in music now than writing quality songs that people want to hear. Also streaming has made songs into more of a consumable product. Back when you had to buy a record for 20-40 bucks the product had to be of good quality to motivate the customer to buy more of it. Records being difficult, expensive and time consuming to make also played a part in it. There is not as much of a risk in a song or record "flopping" now because it's fairly inexpensive and fast to make a new one and release it to streaming compared to previously.

Crap post but contains a tiny turd nugget of truth.

American went on the decline because of editing software that makes it so untalented bands can record their crap songs, and edit them to sound 'professional' sounding, but the songs suck

And rock music fell off, and was replaced by rap, as white people get replaced.

this wasn't the case, dumbfuck. Most albums were just as bad as now with only 1 or 2 good songs on it.

I mean it was the dominant paradigm for like 60 years, what more can anybody meaningfully do with it?

I have seen posts that read almost exactly like this over 15-20 years ago at this point and I won't be surprised if midwits like yourself have been saying the same thing since time began

That image has been debunked many times, the artist who made that dishonestly used an examples that actually worked its way backwards from the 60000 triangle modeland decimated towards the 60 triangle model, but framed it as though the 60 triangle model was working its way towards the 60000 triangle model, which would be a significant distinction since it implies details were added or ommitted arbitrarily. You got duped by the same shit I've seen /v/tards repost since at least 2009

This is a bad thread, you're all psueds with nothing interesting or useful to say
