Converting to Islam seems very complicated and stressful compared to Christianity

If someone wants to become Christian all they have to do is say "i found Jesus" and they are welcomed and praised. You can then go on and study the faith further if you want and tighten up your faith by becoming more knowledgable and you'll be left alone and encouraged by other Christians while you do it.

It doesn't work like this in Islam. Sure Muslims will slobber all over any new Muslim and welcome them in, but that's where the warmth stops. If any new Muslim wants to go further into his faith and really immerse himself, there are a lot of conditions attached to this in order to be accepted.

No new Muslim can study his religion freely without first learning Arabic (an enormous time consuming task) or studying in an Arabic country. Any Muslim speaking about theology is required to learn Arabic or he will be mocked. He is also required to go study in an Arabic country like Saudi Arabia to learn aqida. (This is obviously not practical for all new Muslims or even born Muslims)

"How can you read the the books of Ibn Taymiyyah if you don't know Arabic?"

Yet one can read the writings of the church fathers without being required to learn Latin. He isn't going to be mocked for needing English translations.

Any Muslim holding suspicious political beliefs (failing to recognize Iran as the greatest evil to Muslims, for example) will be shamed by other Muslims and viewed as a deviant until he affirms or retracts them. Any new Muslim who befriends a Deobandi, Ash'ari etc will be shunned and shamed until he frees himself from them. And vice versa.

In Islam new Muslims are essentially required to attach themselves to a sect from the onset to be accepted.

Christianity seems a lot more catered to an individuals private freedom and inner space. You can go at your own pace and there are no extra demands placed on you if you want to study the faith and become closer to God.

How many times do you have to rape your sister to become Muslim?

This all applies to Christianity too, depending on the sect. Orthodox Christians are literally considered sinful for debating without a Priest's permission

Depends where. More casual countries like Indonesia will let you convert quickly whereas a more strict place like Saudi Arabia will make you jump through 10,000 hoops to get there.

Same with Christianity. Sure some are quick like Baptists and non-denominationals (usually you just attend a meeting and a service and get baptized) but others like Catholicism make you go through RCIA (which is a conversion process that takes months, sometime longer and makes you get several different sacraments, usually you have to be instructed on Church teachings and history too).

That's not true. There are millions of Muslims who don't speak Arabic.

Basically anyone who believes in One Almighty God and all his Prophets to us humans on earth, is a Muslim.

You don't even need a paper or a method, in Islam there's NO barrier between a human being and God. Muslim literally means "person who submits (to God)". Only God's know about the truth of your heart, if you believe in the Almighty creator, then you are a Muslim.
