Game UIs using 3D environments needs to be put down. Not only does it look shit, it takes 50 times longer to navigate menus because we need a fucking loadingscreen to load all the 3D assets every fucking time. Same with 3D maps instead of 2D maps in games. I will find the motherfucker who came up with these things and I will murder him.

That's already a thing, some AAA engines use the Chromium Embedded Framework for this, some use that Rocket or w/e thing, there was one more that was more polished that I forgot the name of. I wouldn't be surprised if CoD games also used one such thing.
