If you’re encoding x265 on your *phone*, you’re doing it wrong. ARM isn't made for workstation-level encoding; it's optimized for efficiency. It’s not a toy CPU, it’s a purpose-built CPU. Different tools for different jobs, anon. Try doing that encoding on a decked-out x86 machine while your ARM-based device sips battery and handles everything else like a champ.

I always found handhelds fascinating. It's the miniaturization idea that gets me, having a single device with all the computing power, controls, and screen, in a small form factor.
