What does rescale CFG mean? In the CADs extentsion(though I think I saw it in another extension).
I'm stupid so I don't understand. I interpret it as "uncheck this to increase schizophrenia score by 999".

its some kind of math thing that lets you target higher CFG values with less overfitting (image fry).

so would you say it's lowering my CFG? I felt like it was increasing it since lower CFG images stay normal and the high ones get really cool or broken.

That doesn't seem to be the case. Oh well, I'll just keep randomly using CADS even though I have no idea how to control it.

POV Shaniqua is the tie breaking signature on the Constitution of the United States. She voted in favor of White Supremacy, because the Brittish ended slavery decades before the Americas did. But she voted anyway, because she knew, without a shadow of a doubt, that one day Joseph Robinette Biden would be elected to save her race from perfidity!

not really but that doesn't mean it isn't good. I've been wondering why it hasn't gained my traction but it could be a concert of reasons. sd3 was a pretty big misfire, flux undercut the model, its too big, it doesn't excel sdxl in too many areas.... lots of reasons for it to not succeed I guess. yeah, this series was using sd35-large. there's a ton of room for improvement here but its a solid baseline
https://files.catbox.moe/65hn2g.png
I was trying out sd35-large-turbo yesterday as well. couldn't get anything good out of it. not sure if it was me being dumb or the model just isn't good for the stuff I was trying
>>103995628
>what's your take on prompting with it?
it uses the same encoding structure as flux, t5+clip combo, so my assumption is that you should probably prefer boomer-prompting if you want to get the most from the t5. I've been doing moreso sdxl style prompting though and it works well enough. I still need to spend more time with the model to have stronger opinions.

I found this ad campaign kind of interesting. we'll probably see more and more appeals to 'authenticity' as a claim to value as more and more of culture and content becomes artificially generated.

nah, it definitely feels like it doesn't listen to a lot of what I'm asking for. this series was supposed to be narrative driven and actionful, but it was mostly static. thats why I was saying I need to spend more time with it to really appreciate whether the model is rigid or I'm just not unlocking its potential yet

doubt we'll see SD image gen specific metrics for a bit, most are going to be focused on gamin and "python benchmarks" (like phoronix)
specific SD/flux/llm benchmarks may take a few more days
still, i'm not fully sold on getting a 5090 (i'm on 3090ti currently)
you just know either 5090ti will be announced halfway through the year or the 60x0 series next year

Yeah a 5090Ti will be interesting if that ends up happening, unlike the 4090Ti. If it does, 48GB would be a good start but obviously the price would have to take another jump up from the 2k of the non-Ti.
As for the 6000 series, the cadence of release is just about every two years. This 5000 series would normally have started early autumn 2024 but they had issues on early silicon. So this means the 6000 series would be end of 2026 if they want to get back on track or early 2027 to line up with CES again.
As for Nvidia's Digits computer, no further info leaks at the moment. Speculation is that the compute has to be relatively low so as to not eat into their GPU lines, both in the datacenter and consumer ones. People are guessing something around an xx60 or maybe xx70 level of compute with that 128GB unified RAM.

>how long did it take you to gen flux and sd35?
they've been roughly the same, like 3-4min for base gen. the encoding takes a while too so its not just the sampling. the turbo gens got down to ~1.5min but they were pretty bad. but I'm also comparing to fluxq8 quant, not fp8dev. I'm gonna try to get sd35quant set up later and see how that affects gen times
>flux was slightly faster and easier to prompt
I suspect sd35 might be a bit faster at the end of the day but I find the outputs a lot more creative than flux overall. with how I prompt, flux is far more likely to draw the same picture 20 times while sd35 finds a lot more variance

yeh i only use the q8 flux (dev and dedistilled)
i think i used the regular sd35 not the gguf because i gave up on it
in my eyes, flux does what you tell it to do (and only that with some room for creativity in what you dont tell it), whereas SD models make a lot of shit up even when you specify, and that includes sd35 (though not as bad), although i suppose some see that as a good thing
if sd35 had more support (and was faster and not a pain in the ass to use only via comfyui) i think it may have surpassed flux by now. also it seems sd35 is a lot more geared toward realism than flux

NTA but what would happen if you pick up a random poem and boomer prompt that in -
>Lo! Death has reared himself a throne
>In a strange city lying alone
>Far down within the dim West,
>Where the good and the bad and the worst >and the best
>Have gone to their eternal rest.
>There shrines and palaces and towers
>(Time-eaten towers that tremble not!)
>Resemble nothing that is ours.
>Around, by lifting winds forgot,
>Resignedly beneath the sky
>The melancholy waters lie.
>No rays from the holy heaven come down
>On the long night-time of that town;
>But light from out the lurid sea
>Streams up the turrets silently-
>Gleams up the pinnacles far and free-
>Up domes- up spires- up kingly halls-
>Up fanes- up Babylon-like walls-
>Up shadowy long-forgotten bowers
>Of sculptured ivy and stone flowers-
>Up many and many a marvellous shrine
>Whose wreathed friezes intertwine
>The viol, the violet, and the vine.
>Resignedly beneath the sky
>The melancholy waters lie.
>So blend the turrets and shadows there
>That all seem pendulous in air,
>While from a proud tower in the town
>Death looks gigantically down.
I can't use flux myself, lmao.
