This is fixed, NASA/ESA developed both equipment and a training regimen which *mostly* prevents this from happening. It is so effective that apparently when it comes to long-term missions and exploration, the heat and moisture large amount of crew would generate while exercising would be a bigger problem than any sort of muscle atrophy. That and finding time to do that while maintaining a spaceship, the current regimen for the ISS is apparently like 2 hours long
