I'm trying to use Flux for generations with ForgeUI and it's way slower than I feel it should be. Having just migrated over from Comfy, are there options or something I should be using to speed things up? I'm using a 3090 so I don't think 40 step generations should be taking 10 minutes.

Just so you know, VRAM in your 3090 is around 900+GB/s, your DDR5/4 is only about 30 to 55GB/s.
The trick is to reduce your workload so that everything stays entirely in VRAM, hence why I suggested to reduce your output res, including upscale, LoRAs etc. Then you will see your GPU CUDA load more fully utilized.

Yes it would. Try a Q6 quant of Flux. The output will vary slightly vs the full fat model but since you're now staying within VRAM you'll get image generation back to 30 to 60 seconds instead of 10mins+

you'll probably have decent luck using websites if your phone or pc/laptop is a toaster. my computer is outdated af so I just use website gens and cope with it til I can get something more updated. so I suppose for now just work with that and not worry about killing your toast device off trying to do things it cant or that would take hours to get results.
