I have a similar one, it's a shitty corechip lan adapter with tons of issue and most of them only run at usb 1.1 speed even though they say it's 100M. It's not plug and play but the driver itself is legit and signed. Bitch probably thought windows defender saying "we're not familiar with this program" is an indication of a malware.

I'd say in general my shit is 80% NMIC. Usually its a process of using perplexity to see if there's anything obvious, then taking to amazon.co.jp and filtering to SME (small medium enterprise).
