While usenet has many good sides, one of it's drawbacks is no other backbone comes close to Omicron.
Well Omicron crapped the bed last March and lost a bunch of date uploaded in 2020-2022 range. As a consequence many of those files are unable to complete properly due to missing articles.
Usenet is good to have as an extra to torrents. On it's own, it can be hit or miss.
