Currently I practice generating consistent horror images, add some movement in After Effects and then cut together short movies. AI voice in several languages too. Take the E911 system its an emergency phone line system for FAA compliance. Not enough info right, so I added that this phone worked on such and such equipment that does not work on call manager so the future employer can know why I listed that different from CUCM or why its so important. Stick to 2 pages especially since equipment / software skills are important. You can also chuck in there home labs which is important for entry jobs but more important for engineering since certs/college aint everything. You too would hire someone that has built labs with VM's, containers, virtualized networking, servers and linux operating systems.

Different anon. But help desk requires you to at the minimum have the knowledge of A+ / Net+ so be sure to read and study up on it but skip out on testing. If anything you would take those 2 tests for resume padding purposes only. Sec+ opens the doors for real jobs. Networking certs like CCNA/CCNP are the basis of all IT so if you want to specialize be sure to get the CCNA before moving onto whatever IT specialty you want to.

No one collects all of the certifications due to the way certs do renewals 3-6 years so often you have to specialize or only take certs in 2 domains for added job flexibility. Bachelors and Masters degree's opens doors but its really for management and engineering that you would need it for. Even with engineering they want you to build homelabs/VM's ect so it does not hurt to put what you fucked with on your resume such as building a computer or minecraft server since those fucks get hired into the help desk just fine. There are alot of vendors for certifications so you need to research about what is cross compatible such as Juniper and Cisco are on the same level for the most part.

Studying for the sake of education is fine also but certs take between 2-6 months based upon your reading comprehension, variety of study material and daily time taken for it. Generally if you had A+, Net+, Sec+, CCNA you would have learned more useful material then some bullshit IT degree but your only weak point would be writing emails, tickets, training documents which is a good value of a degree but not enough for the actual on the job training that matters like understanding equipment.
