If kofe time posts, just ignore him. He's off his meds and can't control himself.

Why is branding and logos looked down upon pretty much in everything people wear except watches? Why do watchmakers always need to include the brand name on the watch?

They sell $3000 3 hand watches dude. They're definitely trying to reach up market. Not that they're good value at that price, they're using really questionable movements for that price point, but still.

That's actually what makes me wonder why they would bother bringing back king seiko when every watch currently produced under the king seiko brand could have been a far better watch under grand seiko with better movements and finishing. Most of the king seiko watches are actually pretty thin and available in 36-38mm diameter sized, which grand seiko seems incapable of, but it comes at a cost of using a low power reserve movement that they won't guarantee to be regulated any tighter than a 25 second deviation per day. Regular seiko sells watches with similar or better specs for half or a third of the price.

That doesn't mean they're high end, it just means they're overpriced.

Do you consider a $10k+ Hublot with a Sellitta movement high end? No? But it's expensive, isn't it?

Literally the price. Goods in a given price point are competing with goods in that same price point. The problem here is that they're fighting for a market they don't fit well in. If they were selling these watches for $500-1000 they could be great, but they're $3-4k so we have to judge them against other watches in that price point where they're competing with brands like Tudor and Cartier and Omega.

Specifically for someone like James Bond for the time it makes some sense because the likelihood that he'd need to change into a wetsuit or big jacket he'd have to wear the watch over the sleeve is pretty high and it would be too much of a pain in the ass to adjust the bracelet all the time. They didn't have on the fly clasp adjustment at the time.

Some people also just unironically wear bracelets that loose.

Notice how absolutely disgusting the Santos is? And how boring the Explorer is?

Both are getting MOGGED hard by the BB54. You cannot refute this according to the data. Scientists agree that the BB54 absolutely and brutally MOGS them both.

Hey guys, Teddy Baldassare here;

Today we're gonna see the Top 5 Watch Brands for Faggots.

Number 1: Citizen
Citizen is a brand that is known to be worn by losers and autistic people. Their main characteristic is being like a shittier Seiko but with no brand recognition or accomplishment.
Their designs are always poor taste and the finishing is tacky.
If you want to stay a virgin, show your Citizen to every woman you encounter, their pussy will dry instantly.
