You can dress like this any where in the country and you'll be fine. It's really just the hat that stands out, the rest of the clothes are standard blue collar wear. In cities is where it get tricky, but if you piece the hat together with local style or flare it's easier for other to digest. Like if you're vacationing in Miami, you can wear the hat but you should piece it together with a silk shirt like in pic related. I'm on the east coast in a city and I've seen a few cowboy hats, I plan on buying one myself. You just have to own it, expect people to call you cowboy but in a good natured way, if you can stomach that then you're fine. The cowboy hats, and boots, and bolo ties are things I hope never disappear from American style.
